"Relics Of Desire" has been mixed and mastered! The artwork will be created by Alexis Morgernstern, who also designed our last CD, "Chimera". We'll be announcing an official release date soon. If you're a DJ or promoter and are interested in hosting a release party in your venue please contact us.

We are done with
the mixes for our next CD, "Relics Of Desire", and really can't wait
to share these new songs with all of you. No guest re- mixers, producers or
guest singers, all 100% Deep Red and best of all, no Billy Idol covers ;) Some
of the titles for the new songs:
"Blood Gets In My Eyes", "Incubus My Love","Coldness",
"I'm In You" and "Love Decays". The complete CD should be
available by late November, and the sound? unlike anything you've heard before!!

DEEP RED CONTRIBUTES TO MOVIE SOUNDTRACK.
Deep Red will be featured in the soundtrack for the independent film "The Ballad Of The Walkyre", in production as we speak. The film also features our lead singer Aradia ( AKA Vanessa Farinas ) in one of the leading roles.

LIVE RADIO INTERVIEW AT WGMU (Fairfax, Virginia)

NEW VERSIONS OF "HOLY YOU" AND' RED" ON THE WORKS
As many of you know, our first CD, "The Awakening" is out of production and there are no plans of a re release at this time for legal reasons, but still there's a great demand for it, specially because it contains two of our most known tracks, "Red" and "Holy You". We are happy to anounce that we are recording new versions of these two tracks with our present line up and will be available as bonus tracks on our next release, "Relics Of Desire". We feel the new versions make the originals pale in comparison, and hope you'll agree with us once you hear them. So for those of you looking in vain for copies of "The Awakening", dont despair, help is on the way.

Due to some unexpected Studio hardware issues, the release of "Relics Of Desire" has been pushed back to sometime in September 2006.

DECEMBER 2005
Unexpected delays due to two hurricanes earlier on this year have pushed back the release date of "Relics Of Desire" to around June, 2006. Expect some teaser tracks to be previewed at Deep Red's MySpace site by late January, 2006. The wait will be worth it, we promise!! The band is working again with mixer/ engineer E. Chaviano, who was involved in the recording of our first CD,"The Awakening".

More details on the upcoming CD: "Relics Of Desire" will be released around late April, 2006 . Three new songs will be available for your listening pleasure sometime in December from our MySpace site. We are very exited about the new songs, Aradia's vocal style is coming alive and transforming the new material with unexpected twists and turns.
In other news, several pages of this website have been updated (Bio and Equipment) . More new material will be added shortly to the Photos and Releases sections.

NEW LINEUP, NEW CD ANNOUNCEMENT
Some people with a DISTORTED sense of REALITY were claiming the demise of DEEP RED; unfortunately for them, the funeral will have to be postponed for a few more years.....
After a long and arduous search, DEEP RED is pleased to welcome Aradia, as our new Lead Female vocalist. Aradia brings her performing experience to the band; having loaned her musical talents to various artists throughout the years.
In addition to vocals, lyric writing and music composing, Aradia has been involved in several dance productions and independent film acting. Her other artistic interests include photography, graphic and fashion design.
Work has already began in our next CD which will be released in April 2006. We hope to have the continuing support of all our fans and DJ's who have helped us throughout our career.

Thanks to all that have helped place us at the top 10 at MP3 tunes.com. As of today, September 12, Darkwaters was the #2 CD in their Industrial category, Chimera is #5 in the Gothic category, followed by Darkwaters at #6.

The debut ELEMENT 104 CD,"Beacon" is now available at Amazon, CD Baby and others soon to follow. (See May 2005 news for more details about Element 104). Element 104 has its own page at MySpace.com. "Darkwaters" and "Chimera" are available from MP3 Tunes.com . There's also a new Deep Red page at MySpace.com, where you can sign in to become a friend of the band , interact with us and receive special bulletins and news.

DC astro's side project, ELEMENT 104 is being released for the first time thru Telegrammetry Records, a new record label out of Miami. Release date of this 5 song CD, titled "Beacon" is mid June, 2005. One track from this release, "East side of heaven" is # 1 on Soundclicks' Alternative and Alternative Pop Charts. The sound of Element 104 is a tribute to the sounds of the 1980s. Think of a mix between Berlin and Ultravox!

We are happy to announce that Deep Red MP3S are now available for purchase at all major online sites, including I tunes, Napster , Rhapsody and Net Music. So far, all tracks from Darkwaters and Chimera are available, with more to follow soon.

As of December 2nd 2003, MP3. com is no longer on line. We are looking for alternate sites to host all the Deep Red MP3 files that were available on that site. Thanks to all 97,354 of you who downloaded, listened and purchased our music at MP3. com. We'll keep you posted on all new developments. We are also working on having the video for "Moments", plus some other live footage available for online viewing soon.
To those of you wandering what's going on with Deep Red, we'd like to inform you that the band is going trough some transitions, Martha is no longer part of the group, Mario is taking some time off to work on other artist management projects, and DC astro is taking charge of his often neglected personal life and planning to get married next year.

Osiris Soundworks will be attending the 18th annual Winter Music Conference in promotion of Deep Red's upcoming re mix CD. The new release will contain remixed tracks from their latest release, "Chimera" and possibly other selected remixed tracks from earlier releases "DarkwaterS" and "The Awakening". These new tracks are expected to rattle the many WMC representatives who will be in attendance. A few have requested advance copies, so as to be one step ahead of the others. Look for the complete re mix CD from Deep Red on Osiris Soundworks to be released later this summer.

ON THE TOP TEN...AGAIN
Deep Red placed 4 songs this week on the top twenty Goth charts at MP3. com, including the #1 spot with "Spirits Of the Past". Many thanks to Mike Ventarola of Hidden Sanctuary for his promotion efforts. Last year," DarkwaterS" went to the #1 spot on the MP3. com Goth charts. UPDATE: On the first week of June, we now have 5 songs on the top ten.
NEW CD
The new CD "Chimera" will be released on June 12th, 2002. It will include a multimedia section with the video for the track "Moments", a Photo Gallery and Bio, among other features. Available at all the usual locations, including Amazon.com, Metropolis Records and CD Baby.
